Rhubarb Theatre are a highly creative and original theatre company based in Lincolnshire. In these two films we look at very different strands of Rhubarb’s work. In the first film, we followed Rhubarb for the day as they visited a care home. With live performances and hands on workshops, the Rhubarb team used drama and music to reawaken memories and unleash the creative spirit of the care home residents. In the second film we looked at Rhubarb’s street performances, following them through the crowds and capturing the responses of audiences across different venues. Our experience in documentary filmmaking: being discreet, flexible and responsive, allowed us to capture the spontaneous and emotional moments at the heart of any Rhubarb performance.
